Mr Foluso Phillips

Foluso Phillips is the Executive Chairman and Founder of Phillips Consulting Limited, a firm engaged in business and management consulting, with offices in Nigeria and South Africa.

He is a qualified Industrial Economist, a Chartered Management Accountant of the United Kingdom, and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria. He brings with him experience and expertise in finance, business management, enterprise development and macro-economic policy management.

He is the Chairman, Nigeria Economic Summit Group; Chairman, Nigeria/South Africa Chamber of Commerce; Chairman, Interbrand Sampson West Africa; and Chairman, Web Liquid West Africa. Mr Phillips also serves as Director, Special Olympics of Nigeria; Director, Vigeo Holdings (a Power & Energy company in Nigeria); advisory board member, Africa Leadership Academy (an African Leadership Senior School based in Johannesburg).

He is a prolific speaker, who has addressed many international business seminars and conferences including Wharton Business School and Harvard Business School, among others.

Mrs Tope Jemerigbe

Temitope Jemerigbe is Marketing and Advertising consultant and the Managing Director of DKK an Advertising Firm. Mrs Jemerigbe won Best Female Brand CEO of the Year 2014 by The International Brand Award Nominees and HSBS Global. Tope is the director of finance as well as the media and relations strategist.

Mr Femi Olubanwo

Femi Olubanwo is an erudite intellectual property practitioner whose diverse commercial practise includes advising on all manner of trademark issues. He is also involved in Intellectual Property & Technology, Banking & Loan Syndication, Corporate & Commercial Law and Project Finance

Femi also possesses expertise in copyright matters. Market observers consider him to be “one of the top intellectual property lawyers.

Mr Olubanwo’s passion for completeness and perfection makes him a consummate professional. He has been engaged in many domestic and international financing related transactions and is a member of several professional societies.

Ms Oluwatoyin Adesola

Toyin Adesola is the Founding Executive Director of Sickle Cell Advocacy and Management Initiative. A graduate of Economics from the  Lagos State University, she is impact strategist, coach, consultant, speaker, sickle cell warrior and advocate. She is an alumnus of Enterprise Development Centre, Pan Atlantic University, a Vital Voices Fellow, and a certified health coach of Institute of Integrative Nutrition as well as several other certifications, including Emotional Intelligent, Mental Health First Aid. Toyin has also authored two books – Still Standing and The Misadventures of Oga and Madam AS. She

Toyin has appeared on various television shows including Seriously speaking with Adesuwa Onyenukwe, Channels TV Book Club, Moments with Mo, as well as radio programmes and the print media, telling her story and talking on issues dealing with Sickle Cell Anaemia Disorder, health & wellness, impact generation and productivity.

She is also the founder of THE MARAMATU IMPACT NETWORK,  in which her vision is to help individuals become, healthy, resilient and purposeful so they can, in turn, be a light and transform their world with their own story. While she is busy inspiring others, she currently also hosts The Touch a Cell Show with Toyin and the gang, a radio talk show on sickle cell disorder.

Toyin, even though limited physically is a very energetic and determined woman who has won several awards including the UNESCO Runway Jazz, Humanitarian award.  Her love and faith in God have strengthened her determination to what she has become. She has inspired many people through her story at many speaking engagements. Still standing is Toyin’s first book.

Mr Obafela Bank-Olemoh

Obafemi Bank-Olemoh is the Senior Special Assistant on Education Interventions to the President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari.  He is a former Special Adviser on Education to the Lagos State governor, Akinwunmi Ambode

He is a panel mentor for Ready Set Work (RSW), a Lagos State employability and entrepreneurship program that prepares final-year students. He has been a speaker at Lagos Social Media Week.  He was a founder of Code Lagos Initiative. He is a principal officer of the Lagos State Scholarship Board.

He was enlisted as a graduate trainee at SystemSpecs Limited and eventually became a senior manager of international sales before he resigned and co-founded MediaVision Limited in 2003.

Mrs Foluke Ogunbekun

Foluke is a freelance facilitating trainer with a passion for delivering excellence in training. She is known for her “simplified training” techniques that appeal to all types of learners by using a variety of innovative training games and energisers to enhance and sustain learning.

She has a B.Sc. in Personnel Management and Labour Relations from the University of Maryland, College Park, Maryland USA, and an MBA in International Marketing from the University of Detroit-Mercy, Detroit, Michigan, USA.

She was a Senior Consultant at Phillips Consulting Limited (PCL), where she worked for 14 years. She was also the Director of Manpower Development at Sentinel Africa – an indigenous management consulting organisation located in Maryland, Lagos. While there, she was responsible for designing and managing the organisation’s training programmes, creating innovative training solutions, as well as facilitating the company’s soft skills training programmes.

Mr Ayodeji Jeremiah

Ayodeji is the Principal Consultant of SOGA Verdure Consult and Managing Consultant of Infovirtuoso Media & Communications Consultancy with 22 years’ work experience. A media & communications professional, administrator, consultant and knowledge & learning management expert with a commitment to excellence which has been praised as efficient and a problem solver, his multi- disciplinary working experience spans the NGO, Public Relations, Marketing Communications, Teaching, Education, Information Technology, Media, Administration, HR and Publishing sectors.

His skillset and competencies cover training and knowledge management, education consulting, strategy planning and development, research and evaluation, performance appraisals,  workforce improvements, conflict resolution, team guidance, media relations & corporate communications, public relations and external affairs, media, PR & marketing campaigns, advertising, brand development & management and print media/editing/publishing.

He has consulted for schools, NGOs, churches, small businesses and corporate organisations working with them to review and improve their workflow processes and train their staff in various soft, management and leadership skills. He provides administrative and leadership support to CEOs and leaders in companies, churches and the NGO sector. He has a deep-rooted love for teaching, training and research. He provided editorial direction for TIMELESS magazine during its print run from 2006 -2017 overseeing a team of writers, creatives, sales and advertising professionals and helped the magazine navigate its transition to a digital magazine in 2018.  His last position was as Chief Operating Officer of a leading public relations and marketing communications company.

He is currently focusing on providing soft skills, management, leadership and teacher training to a wide range of clients in various sectors through SOGA.

Ayodeji, who serves as an Advisory Board member at SAMI, also lives with sickle cell disorder. He is also an ordained a Minister in Trinity House church in 2013 and presently serves as Head of the Publications Unit and Minister in Charge of the Advertising Department.

Mr Olushola Abiloye

Shola is the Principal Partner in the Shipping and Dispute Resolution Group of Southgate Solicitors, a full-service commercial law firm based in Lagos, Nigeria. He has extensive experience in Admiralty law, Shipping & Marine Insurance Law & Litigation, Ship Registration, Cabotage Registration & Compliance, Ship Finance & Securitization and International Trade Law & Commercial Arbitration. He was part of the Lagos Team that compiled and drafted the Final Report for the Presidential Committee on Maritime Sector Reform in 2012. He has acted as counsel to several Nigerian and foreign shipping companies. He also has a reputation as a debt recovery and insolvency practitioner.

He has represented clients on a broad range of commercial transactions before trial and appellate courts all over Nigeria. In addition, Shola is a seasoned arbitrator and has represented the firm in numerous local international arbitration cases. He is an adept researcher and has written several published works on maritime law, constitutional law, developmental law and public interest matters.

He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Maritime Arbitrators Association of Nigeria (MAAN), Maritime Committee of the Section on Business Law (SBL-NBA), Nigerian Maritime Law Association (NMLA), Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered), a Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Chartered Arbitrators and a Notary Public of Nigeria. He serves a Board Company Secretary and Member of the Advisory Board of Sickle Cell Advocacy and Management Initiative (SAMI).

Mr Chris Nnakwe

Chris Emeka Nnakwe is the  Head, Human Resources Business Partners/ Recruitment & CSR/Sustainability  at Fidelity Bank. He is a Chartered Human Resources Professional with over 12 years’ experience in Human Resources Management, CSR & Sustainability, a Nonprofit Leadership and Management expert and Core Banking Operations. Driven by a passion to contribute to the goals and objective of great organizations if given adequate opportunities for creativity and innovation and life impacting opportunities.

Chris  joined the then FSB Int’l Bank now Fidelity Bank as a Funds Transfer / Clearing Officer and went on to other core Banking Operations roles such as Customer Service Officer, Cash Officer and eventually heading the Transaction Services Department. His tireless and effective service to Fidelity as an HR Business partner, as well as his passion to serve and make a difference in humanity did not go unnoticed as in January 2014, Chris was appointed the Head, CSR & Sustainability, Fidelity Bank Plc managing the entire Fidelity Bank CSR

Here, he liaised with various relevant groups within and outside the bank to identify and drive various corporate and social strategies and projects. Under one of the Bank’s Biggest CSR platform

“The Fidelity Helping Hands Programme”, Chris has worked to impact lives all over Nigeria. With focusing on Education, Environmental Protection, Youth Empowerment, Health & Social Welfare under the bank’s CSR platform.

In June 2018, Chris was made Group Head, Human Resource Business Partnership & Recruitment, CSR & Sustainability, Fidelity Bank Plc. a position he has used to drive the Bank’s profitability through effective business partnering and human capital management

He belongs to several innovation tasking committees in the bank e.g. Fidelity SME Funding fair committee, Fidelity Branding committee, Fidelity Event Planning Committee etc.

He currently sits on the Advisory Board of Sickle Cell Advocacy and Management Initiative (SAMI).

Dr (Mrs) Abimbola Mabogunje

Dr Mabogunje has spent the last thirteen years as a Consultant Paediatrician occupying various leadership roles.    A graduate of the  College of Medicine, University of Lagos.  She also has an MSc Community Paediatrics    Institute of Child Health, University College London.  Post Graduate Program in Pediatric Nutrition (PGPN) (Online)  Boston Medical Center, Boston, Massachusetts, USA  and has run Postgraduate courses in Paediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition amongst others.

Currently, she serves as the Director of Clinical Services and Training at Massey Street Children Hospital.

She has had several publications and belongs to some professional bodies including,  Royal College of Physicians (UK) (MRCP) Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (MRCPCH), General Medical Council, UK, Paediatric Association of Nigeria.

She is committed to delivering a high standard of care in an affordable and equitable manner. She is able to address issues to achieve the best outcomes. Dr Mabogunje has passionate for improving health care systems in Lagos State.
