SAMI Builds Strategy Planning Agenda for 2020

Every year it is the plan of any organization to review its successes and failures and design new strategies for growth and impact.  For the team of Sickle Cell Advocacy and Management Initiative (SAMI), it was no different as its annual strategy meeting was held on the 6th – 8th January 2020. It was a time to be refreshed and learn as we aimed for visibility and impact in the New Year.

We had the pleasure of hosting facilitators such as Mrs Preye Egbolibe, Mr Samuel Akinlotan, Mr Emmanuel Adegoke, Mrs Oreoluwa Lesi, the SIAO team –an accounting firm led by Mr Sonola, and Mrs Folake Jeremiah as they shared with us on various topics such as teamwork and communication, developing systems and processes for productivity, storytelling for non-profit, practical steps to effective fundraising, fundamentals of non-profit management and accountability, and the psychology of work.

It was also a time to share with board members of SAMI while the team developed strategic planning processes and set the year’s campaigns, activities and events in proper perspective.

Welcome to Visibility and Impact!
