In the heart of Lagos, a beacon of hope shines brightly for individuals living with sickle cell disorder. XTRACARE Free Medical Clinic, a project by Sickle Cell Advocacy and Management Initiative (SAMI) provides a lifeline to those living in low-income households and communities by acting as a bridge between them and health professionals.

XTRACARE offers doctor’s consultations, routine medications, medical tests, genetic counseling, and more at zero cost to the beneficiaries. Staff and volunteers welcome clients with warmth, concern, and give exceptional treatment.
